VERSATILE MILLING
Since 2010, our five-axis high-speed machining center – a CNC-milling machine – has also offered you the option of having our in-house milling process proven KSF quality. We quickly and economically mill threads either in blocks that are still soft, which are then hardened, ground and eroded, or we mill already hardened steel.

We at KSF Feinwerktechnik perform both classic wire EDM and micro EDM, i.e. fine wire processing with a wire diameter of only 0.02 mm.

Due to the high accuracy of the machines and the surface quality of the machined parts, all spare and tool parts can be used directly without further finishing. Our grinding machines have a permanent balancing system for the grinding wheels and an integrated measuring system. This creates the best surfaces and maximum precision for your tool parts. The identification of the manufactured tool and spare parts is done by individual laser inscription, gladly according to your specifications.

The tool designs are mainly created in 3D on VISI and on Pro / Enginneer Wildfire 4. In addition, we can design for you in 2D on Designer Drafting ME10. Thanks to its extremely powerful user interface customization, the software is optimized for our company’s product development processes.
Our CAD stations are networked with direct interfaces with our machinery to ensure secure data transmission.
The data exchange with you can take place via email, USB stick or CD-Rom.
The data can be transmitted in the formats wkf, step, for 3D files and in the formats Mi, dxf and dwg for 2D files.
